This event offers an extraordinary opportunity to improve one's chess skills on the one hand and teaching skills on the other through working with internationally renowned teachers. With two exceptional courses - the FIDE course for aspiring Trainers and the Chess Level-Up program for young talents. The camp is organized by SSD Alfiere Bianco, an Italian organization renowned for promoting and organizing quality chess events in collaboration with Offerspill, Europe's top chess academy for high-level training with talent development programs. Together with them Le Due Torri brings its contribution as a publisher and as an important distributor of chess material. An event that promises a unique experience: training, analysis and fun await you. R.B. Ramesh

Visionary, innovative and empathetic coach. Winner of the prestigious Mikhail Botvinnik FIDE Award 2023, he has trained prestigious names on the world chess scene. For him, the game of chess is about more than winning, it is a source of joy and passion that he hopes to instill in every young player.

Lexy Ortega

Fide Trainer and Chief Instructor FSI/CONI, coach of the women's sector of the FIS and Federal Manager of the youth sector, directs and teaches at the Federal Chess Academy. Among the athletes who trained with him we remember Daniele Vocaturo, one of the most prestigious names in the Italian chess scene.

Jesper Hall

Jesper Hall is an IM and FIDE Senior Trainer who has worked as a trainer and project manager for 25 years. He has been in charge of the talent programs Team Sweden and Team Norway, and his most prominent student has been Magnus Carlsen.

PIERLUIGI PISCOPO

Pierluigi began in the world of chess at a very young age. Fide Trainer, in Corsica in 2013 he became coach of the "Scola Corsa di l’Eccellenza". Appreciated teacher at the Italian Federal School and director of the Puglia Regional School.

SEBASTIANO PAULESU

A highly experienced instructor, he has contributed to the development of chess in Sardinia since 1994. Best instructor from FSI in 2010 and creator of the Ideographic Method, particularly suitable for the school context. Very active in the projects of Alfiere Bianco and the Italian Chess Federation

THE LOCATION

Located on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, Arona is a pretty town that contains a notable historical and naturalistic heritage of undoubted beauty, with breathtaking landscapes, the statue of San Carlo and the Rocca Borromea. The long lake of Arona offers a beautiful and relaxing walk with an excellent view of the Rocca di Angera.

Participants in the International Chess Training Camp will be able to stay at discounted prices at the hotels that host the courses: the Hotel Atlantic **** and the Hotel Concorde ****.
Different types of rooms are available, from single economy to triple rooms, with the possibility of choosing lake view accommodations for a surcharge, to enjoy a splendid view of Lake Maggiore. At the Hotel Concorde you can stay with half board, while at the Hotel Atlantic you can choose between half board and full board.
